He joined the faculty in 2021. He previously served as pastor of Village Lutheran Church\, Ladue\, Mo. (2009-21)\, and as pastor of Grace Lutheran Church\, Holts Summit\, Mo. (2002-09). Golden earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Concordia Seminary (2010\, 1999). In 1995\, Golden received a Bachelor of Arts in antiquities and religious studies\, graduating summa cum laude in the Honors College at Missouri State University in Springfield\, Mo. \n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\nDr. Joey-Lynn Bialkowski\nAdjunct Professor\, Batterman School of Business\, Concordia University Wisconsin\, Mequon\, Wi.\nDr. Joey-Lynn Bialkowski-Peterson\, founder & CEO of The Leadership Studio and a leadership and organizational development consultant who partners with Fortune 100–500 organizations to design and scale high-impact leadership strategies. Designed for participants without formal financial training\, the session focuses on understanding what the numbers mean\, identifying trends and risks and using financial information to support informed strategic conversations and leadership in ministry. \n\n\n\n\nDr. Mart Thompson\nAssociate Professor of Practical Theology\, and Director of Specific Ministry Pastor Program\nDr. W. Mart Thompson is associate professor of Practical Theology and director of Specific Ministry Program (SMP) at Concordia Seminary\, St. Louis. As an associate professor\, Thompson’s areas of experience and expertise include pastoral theology\, catechesis\, new member incorporation\, small group spiritual care\, and youth and family discipleship. As director of the SMP program\, he oversees all aspects of this ministry formation program at Concordia Seminary and provides synod-wide support to The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) leaders in the application of the program. \n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\nDeaconess Dr. Kim Schave\nDirector of Graduate Programs\, Assistant Professor of Accounting\, Batterman School of Business\, Concordia University Wisconsin\, Mequon\, Wi.\nDr. Kim Schave is a certified public accountant who has also served as a nonprofit leader and Lutheran Deaconess. She has more than 20 years of experience teaching college accounting and business courses. DESCRIPTION:From Vision to Ministry: Strategic Leadership for Congregations\nPastors will learn how to move from vision to execution by developing and managing strategic ministry initiatives. This session focuses on aligning people\, processes and resources to support sustainable ministry. \n\n\n\n\nDr. David Peter\nDean of Faculty\, Professor of Practical Theology\, Concordia Seminary\, St. Louis\nDr. David J. Peter is professor of Practical Theology and dean of faculty at Concordia Seminary\, St. Louis. A faculty member since 1998\, his areas of interest include the dynamics of pastoral leadership in different sizes of congregations and in organizing leaders in congregational contexts. He also specializes in the art of expository preaching. Peter has written three books: “Organizing for Ministry and Mission: Options for Church Structure” (Concordia Publishing House\, 2023); “Opening the Scriptures: Expository Preaching in the Lutheran Tradition” (Concordia Seminary Press\, 2022); and “Maximizing the Midsize Church: Effective Leadership for Fruitful Mission and Ministry” (Kregel Publishing\, 2018). He also has published Bible study resources for congregations through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod\, as well as devotional resources and articles through Concordia Publishing House\, Concordia Seminary Press and more. \n\n\n	\n\n\n\nDr. Steven Schave\nAdjunct Professor\, Batterman School of Business\, Concordia University Wisconsin\, Mequon\, Wi.\nThe Rev. Steve Schave is currently serving as the Executive Director of LAMP Ministry\, a cross cultural ministry serving the indigenous communities in remote areas of Northern Canada.  Prior to this\, he was named the director of LCMS Urban & Inner-City Mission in January 2014\, as well as director of LCMS Church Planting in January 2015. Schave is a second-career pastor\, a former business executive\, with a decade of experience in entrepreneurship\, business systems and executive leadership. His church work began in church planting with a focus on outreach through human care and then church revitalization with a focus on neighborhood renewal in the inner city. Previously\, he served as the regional vice-president in the Southwest region of the LCMS Ohio District\, and was third vice-president of the presidium. He also served on the board of directors for Lutheran Housing Support for several years. Schave has years of experience in connecting Word and Sacrament ministry with engaging communities.  He founded the MissionField: USA initiative\, that was adopted in the LCMS national convention\, in an effort to plant new cross-cultural ministries\, working through districts to send national missionaries that he supervised.  He also developed the national Save Our Cities Fund\, Big City Mission School Program\, The Hero Academy\, Urban & Inner-City Webinar series and Denarius Social Enterprise learning modules.  He received his D.Min. at Concordia Theological Seminary\, Ft.
