Concordia Seminary Receives AAL Gift-Matching Funds

Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) recently presented $66,822 to Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, through the AAL Member Gift-Matching Program. The total reflects the AAL's matched portion of contributions received from members during the first quarter of 1999.

"We are grateful for the generous support from AAL which encourages greater stewardship from their members," commented Leonard Fiedler, Vice President for Development at Concordia Seminary. "The AAL Member Gift-Matching Program has the effect of multiplying the gifts of those who are committed to assisting us in the preparation of men for the pastoral ministry."

Any annual gifts of $25 to $100 made by an AAL member to Concordia Seminary are matched dollar-for-dollar by AAL through the Gift-Matching Program. This is an ongoing program that is open to all AAL members.
