"Passion According to St. John" to Be Presented During Holy Week at Concordia Seminary

J.S. Bach’s “Passion According to St. John” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on April 18 in The Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus on the Concordia Seminary campus, 801 DeMun Ave., Clayton. This sacred concert will be performed by “The American Kantorei,” under the direction of Robert Bergt, and will conclude the Bach at the Sem series for 1999-2000.

“We are delighted to offer this magnificent work during Holy Week,” commented Rev. Glen Thomas, vice president for seminary relations at Concordia Seminary. “We believe it will make a very meaningful contribution to the observance of Lent for all who are present as we are led through the events surrounding Christ’s crucifixion.”

All sacred concerts in the “Bach at the Sem” Series are offered free of charge, and no tickets are issued. For more information, contact the Seminary Relations Office, Concordia Seminary, 801 DeMun Ave., St. Louis, MO, 63105; 314.505.7370; SemRelations@csl.edu.
