Concordia Seminary Recognizes Faculty Anniversaries
On Dec. 10, a group of 14 faculty members at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, were recognized for having reached significant anniversaries of their ordination and commissioning dates. During the Seminary's morning chapel service, each was recognized, and prayers of thanksgiving for their service were offered. A special reception also was held following the chapel service to allow individuals in the Seminary community the opportunity for personal expressions of gratitude.

Prof. Jeffrey Kloha - 10 Years
Dr. Wally Becker - 15 Years
Dr. Jeffrey Oschwald - 15 Years
Dr. David Peter - 15 Years
Prof. William Carr - 20 Years
Prof. Larry Rockemann - 25 Years
Dr. Deomar Roos - 25 Years
Prof. David Berger - 40 Years
Dr. Ronald Feuerhahn - 40 Years
Dr. Quentin Wesselschmidt - 40 Years
Emeriti:
Dr. Horace Hummel - 50 Years
Dr. Charles Knippel - 50 years
Prof. Roland Hopmann - 55 Years
Dr. Francis Rossow - 55 Years
"In a community that holds high the pastoral office and the work of Christ done through His under-shepherds, we give thanks to God for these faithful servants and for the blessings God has provided through them," commented Dr. Andrew Bartelt, vice president for academic affairs at Concordia Seminary. "Collectively these men represent over 450 years of service since ordination, and we rejoice with them in thanksgiving to God!"
