Two Special Worship Opportunities This Sunday at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will offer two special worship opportunities this Sunday in its Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. At 3:00 p.m., the public is invited to experience Bach at the Sem, sacred concerts featuring the music of J.S. Bach, as provided by the American Kantorei, under the direction of Robert Bergt. Bach’s Mass in G Major for Chorus, Soloists and Orchestra will be among the works offered. No tickets are issued and admission is free. This Sunday also marks the beginning of the 2003 Advent Tour for the Concordia Seminary Chorus, under the direction of Rev. Henry V. Gerike. The Chorus will present a service of congregational hymns, readings and settings of psalms and spiritual songs for the season of Advent at 7:00 p.m. in the Seminary’s chapel.

December 13, 7:00 p.m. – Advent Lutheran Church, Zionsville, Indiana
December 14, 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. – Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Indianapolis, Indiana
December 14, 2003, at 4:00 p.m. – Grace Lutheran Church, Paris, Illinois

All members of the Chorus are students who are preparing to become pastors in The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
