Rev. Dale Skeesick Installed at Concordia Seminary
Rev. Dale Skeesick was installed as director of congregational support in the division of development at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, on Jan. 9. The installation took place during the morning chapel service in the Seminary's Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. Skeesick previously served as gift planning counselor for Lutheran Hour Ministries since 1998.
"I am pleased to once again be part of the Seminary community," Rev. Skeesick commented after his installation. "I am excited about the opportunity before me of encouraging congregations to help support the formation of pastors and the spread of the Gospel."
Skeesick received the B.A. degree from Concordia College, St. Paul, Minn. (1975), and the M.Div. degree from Concordia Seminary (1992). His previous positions have included that of pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, Ill. (1992-1998), principal at a Lutheran school in Jacob and a teacher in Collinsville, Ill.
