Lay Bible Institute Available on iTunes U

Several new audio/video files based on Concordia Seminary’s 2007 Winter Lay Bible Institute are available for download, free of charge, on “Concordia Seminary on iTunes U.” The topic, “The Lord of Creation,” is presented by Prof. Thomas Egger, assistant professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary.

The series examines the Bible’s teachings about God as the maker of heaven and earth in contrast with human theories of the origin of life and the universe. It also explores what Scripture says concerning issues such as God’s involvement with His creation, the existence of miracles and the importance of the work of God the Creator.

Concordia Seminary’s Lay Bible Institute is offered twice a year, usually four Wednesday’s in October and four Wednesday’s preceding Ash Wednesday, by the Office of Continuing Education. The 2006 Fall Lay Bible Institute series, “Which Jesus?: How Many Gospels Are There?” presented by Prof. Jeffrey Kloha, assistant professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary, also is available on iTunes U.

“Concordia Seminary on iTunes U” is accessed from the Seminary’s Web site at www.csl.edu, through the iTunes U link in the lower, right-hand corner, or directly at http://itunes.www.csl.edu. Both Macintosh and Microsoft Windows-based computers are able to utilize this technology.
