Scholl To Serve As Managing Editor of Theological Publications
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, announces that Travis Scholl has accepted the call to serve as managing editor of theological publications. As managing editor of theological publications, Scholl will manage the Seminary’s quarterly theological publication, Concordia Journal, and the Seminary’s book publication efforts. He also will work with the Seminary faculty in providing theological leadership in church and world.
A 2007 graduate of Yale University Divinity School, Scholl served as vicar at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bronx, New YorkCity (2005-2007). Prior to enrolling in divinity school, he served as development officer at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (1996-1999) and creative assistant to the Lutheran Hour Speaker at Lutheran Hour Ministries (1999-2003). He was ordained into the office of pastoral ministry on Jan. 6.
Scholl’s writing and editing career has included a wide range of published work, including most recently a prayerbook for Lent, Living Lent: Daily Prayers for the Season. His poetry has appeared in Prospect, Palimpsest, The Cresset and Lutheran Forum.
