'Reaching Out Together' Reaches Many
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis held the third annual evangelism conference titled “Reaching Out Together” on Feb. 12 on the campus of Concordia Seminary. Over 130 people were in attendance, with 31 congregations represented. The conference was sponsored by the Saturday Outreach School with the cooperation of Concordia Seminary, and the Missouri District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
Dr. Reed Lessing served as the conference keynote speaker. Other presenters included Dr. Leopoldo Sánchez, Rev. Ron Rall, Karen Davis, Rev. Dar Karsten, Rev. Quentin Poulson, and Christian Friends of New Americans.
Participants’ comments included: “Speakers were excellent, very knowledgeable, and gave great information to pay it forward.” “It really opened my mind to think outside the box.” “This workshop opened my eyes to the many opportunities for doing evangelism.”
Next year’s “Reaching Out Together” conference is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2012.
