The Laudamus men’s choir of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis will perform the final two concerts of its spring tour in April with performances in Missouri and Illinois.

Laudamus will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington, Mo., and at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Strasburg, Ill. The choir recently returned from the first leg of its spring tour, which consisted of seven stops in Georgia, Florida and Alabama.

The choir will sing an eclectic program representing the church’s song from many different genres. Composers include Bruckner, Christiansen, Fauré, Hogan and more.

Laudamus is a select choir of 14 seminarians preparing for full-time service as pastors in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Under the direction of Jim Marriott, the Seminary’s director of musical arts, the choir delights in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music.
