Congregations provide Christmas cheer
LCMS churches from throughout the country showed their support for Seminary families by sending Christmas gifts, delivered to the Admissions office, during the final week of classes before Christmas break in December 2017. Fifteen different groups and churches brought gifts for 32 families. Senior Administrative Assistant Diane Parker, who coordinates the event, says some churches also buy specifically for children. Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, Mo., buys gifts for 50 children; Trinity Lutheran Church in El Paso, Mo., buys for 12 children; and Glendale Lutheran Church in Sappington, Mo., buys for 12 children. The Seminary is so grateful!
