Jambalaya Fest
The fine folks of Village Lutheran Church in Lacombe, La., once again came all the way to Concordia Seminary May 9 to feed students, faculty and staff — and all of their families — some amazing Cajun food for Jambalaya Fest!
The mouth-watering menu included jambalaya, shrimp ‘n grits, catfish, fried pickles, beignets and king cake.

“I love the Sem,” said Rev. Paul Ernewein (’07), pastor of Village Lutheran Church. “I’m trying to show future pastors they can give back in different ways. This is our gift to share!”
From the jambalaya to the beignets, it was a truly an amazing time of food and fellowship! The entire campus community is so thankful for congregations like Village Lutheran!
