Seminary to participate in Give STL Day 2021
Gifts will be doubled up to the first $11k raised
The Seminary’s goal for Give STL Day is to raise $25,000, which will be used where needed most as the Seminary continues in its mission to prepare the church’s future pastors, deaconesses, missionaries and teachers — an especially vital mission in these challenging times. Thanks to a matching gift from a local benefactor, donations to the Seminary’s Give STL Day campaign will be doubled dollar for dollar up to the first $11,000 raised. In 2020, the Seminary raised $20,957 on Give STL Day, surpassing the $20,000 campaign goal.
“On this special day set aside to highlight locally headquartered nonprofit organizations, we invite friends and supporters to remember the vital mission of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. With your support, our graduates will go out from here to the four corners of the world to shine the light of the Gospel,” said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president of Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. “We thank you in advance for your partnership in this special campaign and for making the Seminary’s mission possible.”
Online donations can be made anytime between April 5 and May 6 at givestlday.org/concordiasem or by calling 800-822-5287. Individuals also can show their support for the Seminary by spreading the word on social media using the hashtags #GiveSTL and #GiveCSL.
“Whether local or from afar, the impact that our donors have in the Seminary’s preparation of its seminarians is immeasurable,” added Megan Duncan, manager of annual giving and Give STL Day campaign manager.
