Laudamus spring 2022 tour dates announced
Performances planned throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri
“This theme of this year’s program, ‘Gone Home,’ is layered with meaning. Texas is home to many of our choir members and is one of my home states,” said Dr. James Marriott, the Seminary’s director of Music Arts and the Kreft Chair for Music Arts. “But the deeper meaning is expressed in the nature of the concert program, pointing toward the eschatological hope we have in Christ, His resurrection and His return. That hope guides our Lenten journey together.”
The Laudamus spring 2022 tour itinerary includes the following:
- Saturday, March 19, 7 p.m. Immanuel Lutheran Church, Broken Arrow, Okla.
- Sunday, March 20, 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Grace Lutheran Church, Tulsa, Okla.
- Sunday, March 20, 3 p.m. Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Edmond, Okla.
- Monday, March 21, 7 p.m. Lamb of God Lutheran Church, Flower Mound, Texas
- Wednesday, March 23, 7 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, Klein, Texas
- Sunday, April 3, 4 p.m. Hope Lutheran Church, St. Louis, Mo.
The choir will perform pieces by Brant Adams, Felice Anerio, Dan Forrest and Antonio Lotti.
The concerts are free and open to the public. Freewill offerings will be collected to support music arts programs at the Seminary. To learn more about Laudamus and the spring tour, visit csl.edu/laudamus.
