Join the Seminary’s mission this Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28

Special matching gift opportunity doubles impact of donations

Giving Tuesday 2023

This Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28, donors will have the opportunity to support the mission of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and double their impact. Thanks to a matching gift, donations will be matched up to the first $50,000 raised toward an overall $100,000 campaign goal.

Gifts given to the campaign will be used where needed most to equip and prepare future pastors, deaconesses, missionaries and other church leaders who will shepherd congregations and bring Christ to the world.

“It is with grateful hearts that we look forward to the excitement of Giving Tuesday,” said Vicki Biggs, senior vice president for Seminary Advancement and chief communications officer. “During this special campaign, we have the wonderful privilege of hearing from supporters who care so deeply for our students and who want to partner with us in our ongoing mission to prepare the church’s future leaders. This is one of the best days of the year — and we give thanks to God for all He makes possible through our friends’ awesome generosity.”

Everyone is encouraged to make a gift and then to share the Giving Tuesday page using #PrepareAPastor, #PrepareADeaconess and #GivingTuesday on social media to spread the word about the campaign. Supporters also can create their own matching gift or challenge and can share it among their friends, families, churches and alumni class.

Early giving is available for those who would like to make their Giving Tuesday donation in advance.
