Concordia Seminary Sponsors Faculty Book Signing
Concordia Seminary will honor faculty members who have recently written or contributed to published books on Tuesday, May 19, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in Koburg Hall. In addition, a book-signing will take place at a wine and cheese reception. The following faculty have had books published:
Charles Arand and Robert Kolb: The Genius of Luther’s Theology (Baker)
Charles Arand, Robert Kolb and Robert Rosin: all had chapters in The Pastoral Luther (Eerdmans)
Kent Burreson: editor for He Was Crucified (Concordia Publishing House)
Robert Kolb: Martin Luther, Confessor of the Faith (Oxford)
Reed Lessing: Concordia Commentary: Amos (Concordia Publishing House)
David Maxwell: contributed a chapter in In the Shadow of the Incarnation: Essays on Jesus Christ in the Early Church in Honor of Brian E. Daley, S.J. (U. of Notre Dame Press)
Francis Rossow: Gospel Patterns in Literature (Kirk House)
Quentin Wesselschmidt: Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture: Psalms 51-150 (InterVarsity)
