Rehkop Rejoins Concordia Seminary’s Development Staff

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, is pleased to announce that Thomas V. Rehkop will serve as director of development (planned and principal gifts). Previously, Rehkop was director of major gifts and special projects at Concordia Seminary (1999-2001). Most recently, he served as regional director of development at Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind. (2003-2006).

Rehkop received the B.S. degree from Concordia University, Seward, Neb., and holds a certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Fundraising School at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, Ind. He served as gift planning counselor for Lutheran Hour Ministries, St. Louis (1994-1999); director of major gifts (2001-2003) and interim vice president (2002-2003), World Mission Support, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, St. Louis; and regional director of development at Washington University, St. Louis (2003). Additionally, he was an instructor at Lutheran high schools in Michigan and Illinois for nine years and served in various managerial capacities at Famous-Barr Department Stores in St. Louis for eight years.
