Concordia Seminary to Host Responding to Conflict Confessionally Seminar

A “Responding to Conflict Confessionally” seminar will be held May 8-10 on the Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, campus. Many congregations today find themselves engulfed in conflict and not knowing what steps to take toward resolution. This three-day event, a program of the Seminary’s Continuing Education Department, is designed to teach pastors and lay leaders biblical ways of personal conflict resolution for immediate application in interpersonal and church-related conflicts.

Ted Kober of Peacemaker Ministries, Billings, Montana, will be the presenter. He has trained pastors and lay people in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. to serve as reconcilers for congregations experiencing conflict. The seminar is for pastors and lay leaders who have not had the opportunity to attend a previous seminar. Those who want a refresher also are welcome.

A grant from Wheat Ridge Ministries has enabled Concordia Seminary to offer this seminar at a cost of $85 per participant, with housing and meals additional. For more information, contact Dr. John W. Oberdeck, Director of Continuing Education and Parish Services, at (314) 505-7105 or ce@csl.edu.
