Concordia Seminary Invites Public to April 1 Bach at the Sem Concert

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis invites the public to the Bach at the Sem concert on Sunday, April 1, at 3:00 p.m. in The Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus. There is no admission charge and no tickets are issued. This concert will conclude the 2006-2007Bach at the Sem season.

The American Kantorei, under the direction of Seminary artist-in-residence Robert Bergt, will present Bach’s Cantata 182,Himmelskönig, sei willkommen (Welcome, King of Heaven); Motet 1, Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied (Sing to the Lord a New Song); and, Cantata 49, Ich geh’ und suche mit Verlangen (I Go and Search with Longing).
