Concordia Seminary Recognizes Ordination Anniversaries
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, recognized significant ordination anniversaries of 10 faculty and emeriti and two staff members at the end of chapel service on Jan. 27. Each was recognized individually and prayers of thanksgiving were offered for their service. A reception was held following the chapel service to allow individuals in the Seminary community the opportunity to express their gratitude.

“The years of faithful service to our Lord and His people given by these 12 men gives strong testimony to the faithfulness of our good and gracious God, who always bestows upon His church gifts to carry out His work (Eph. 4:8, 11),” commented Dr. James Voelz, dean of the faculty at Concordia Seminary. “Together, they have given over 400 years of service in many lands, in many languages, and in many stations and positions, and we at Concordia Seminary are glad and proud to call them our brothers in Christ.”
