Concordia Seminary to Host Days of Theological Reflection

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, will host two days of Theological Reflection May 7-8, 2014. The two-day event is designed for pastors and students involved in homiletical and exegetical education.

May 7 will focus on homiletical reflection. It starts at 9 a.m. and lasts all day. The presenters for the Day of Homiletical Reflection are Rev. Dr. John Nunes, the Emil and Elfriede Jochum chair at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind.; Rev. Dr. James Voelz, chair and professor of the department of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary; and Rev. Dr. David Schmitt, the Gregg H. Benidt chair in homiletics and literature at Concordia Seminary.

May 8 will focus on exegetical reflection, and starts at 9 a.m. as well. The presenters for the Day of Exegetical Reflection are Rev. Dr. Jeff Kloha, provost and associate professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary; Rev. Dr. David Adams, associate professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary; Rev. Dr. Timothy Saleska, associate professor of exegetical theology at Concordia Seminary; and Dr. Voelz.

CEU certificates will be available for this event.
