The Seminary’s guaranteed tuition financial aid policy helps to remove a hurdle that could keep students from answering the call to ministry, namely, the ability to afford a seminary education. Your annual unrestricted gift serves to ensure the Seminary will continue to attract and support a world-class faculty. Our faculty members, all of whom are ordained for pastoral ministry in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, are known and respected throughout the church and the world for their biblical and confessional scholarship and experience in applying the truth of God’s Word to daily life. Their exemplary leadership in a wide variety of ministry contexts contributes to the rich educational and spiritual formation experience for each and every one of our students across all programs.

Your annual unrestricted gift is used to help maintain the Seminary’s architecturally significant buildings – our classrooms and chapels, faculty and staff offices, student dormitories and apartments, and meeting spaces – and our beautiful, park-like grounds. Our 72-acre campus – a welcoming oasis amid the bustle of the surrounding Clayton, Mo., community – is home to a number of faculty who reside in the historic houses on campus as well as our residential students and their families. The trees and plantings, the fields and gardens all are testament to the glory of God’s creation.

Offerings include opportunities to perform in choirs and ensembles, join athletic teams, lead Bible studies and participate in student government – all wonderful ways to join together in Christian fellowship.
